Description of Session
A two or three line summary, so that an outsider reading it could get the gist of the unit immediately. Include such things as:
- Domain e.g. English literature, Statistics, Woodwork, Mechanical engineering
- Topic (content) e.g. Jane Eyre, normal distribution, mitre joints, beam deflection
- Level of study e.g. HE, FE, Continuing professional development (CPD), Vocational education, Community education
- Mode of delivery and how learners will engage with the material e.g. mode = face-to-face and/or distance; engagement = self-paced / cohort learning / tutor-led / autonomous
